Turning AI Hype into Real Organizational Impact

The gap between talking about AI and truly adopting it remains one of the biggest challenges for modern organizations. During a compelling panel at AI Week by Commit and Calcalist, leaders from Wix, monday.com, Team8, and Autonomy AI made one point clear. Real transformation begins with leadership, mindset, and a willingness to reshape how organizations work.

Asaf Yonay, VP and Head of AI Adoption at Wix, framed the challenge perfectly when he compared AI to a junior employee with amnesia that must be taught from scratch each time. His message underscored the reality that AI requires structured onboarding, consistent context, and organizational alignment to deliver measurable value.

From monday.com, Setvun Amir shared her decision to pause all work for a full “AI Month,” pushing the entire company into focused experimentation. Her approach highlighted that change will not happen organically. Leaders must create the conditions for adoption at scale.

The panel outlined three pillars for meaningful progress. First, a mindset shift is essential, combining training on how to think in an AI-driven environment with consistent infrastructure. Second, organizations must focus on where AI can deliver clear ROI, rather than spreading efforts thin. Third, teams must embrace AI’s imperfections. It will make mistakes, it will require iteration, and it must be treated like a junior developer who can grow with guidance.

The panelists emphasized that AI is not about replacing people. It is about creating efficiency, removing friction, and empowering teams to operate at a new level of productivity. Success depends on reducing bureaucracy, establishing dedicated AI innovation roles, and ensuring the entire organization advances together.
