COMMIT HIRES NEW HEAD OF GLOBAL REVENUE OPERATIONS, AMANDA TAYLOR, AFTER DOUBLING STAFF AND GROWING REVENUE BY 30%

Amanda Taylor of Commit

New York City, NY, USA. 19th January 2022 – Commit, a global technology services company focused on custom software and IoT solutions, named Amanda Taylor as its new head of global revenue operations.

The new role was created specifically to support Commit’s operational efficiencies in the US and internationally, as demand for its tech research & development (R&D) services and new Cloud of People team-building solution continues to grow.

In 2021, Commit reportedly more than doubled its number of skilled employees, grew global revenue by over 30% and increased its US client base more than six fold, all in addition to the launch of its new transformative solution, Cloud of People.

The need for Commit’s services has never been greater, as the gap between demand and supply for skilled tech talent is rising rapidly. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, IT and software development job openings have increased by 119% in the US alone, with the potential of contributing to more than $8 trillion (€7.06 trillion) in unrealised annual revenue by 2030.

“Tech companies today face enormous talent shortages, increased demands and rising recruitment and employee retention costs. Amidst these challenges, Commit’s ability to rapidly, and affordably, build highly qualified development teams has helped countless organisations make their vision a reality,” says Max Nirenberg, chief revenue officer and managing director of Commit USA. “As we continue to grow our business and support more clients’ innovations, Amanda’s unique experience with both operations at scale and people management across multiple continents makes her a perfect fit to take our operations to the next level.”

In the newly established role of head of Global RevOps, Taylor will oversee the unification of several core departments, including sales, marketing and delivery operations, to drive predictable revenue and ensure transparency, operational effectiveness and a collaborative culture. In addition to optimising a diverse array of growing departments and delivery demands, Taylor will also streamline and expedite the execution of transformative new key initiatives, technologies and tools, which will greatly expand Commit’s revenue potential and customer service capabilities.

Founded in 2005, Israel-based Commit is a tech R&D and software development firm, offering a range of engineering capabilities and resources to design and deliver any project on time, on budget and with superior quality. The company supports clients in a range of advanced technologies and applications for multiple industries including Fintech, Medtech, Martech, IoT, consumer goods and more.

Launched in Q4 2021 in response to the rapidly escalating job supply requirements, Commit’s new Cloud of People team-building solution applies the rapid scalability and flexibility seen in cloud technology to provide a risk-free method of quickly building successful development project teams in less than two weeks. Additionally, its Flexible R&D methodology has helped hundreds of clients successfully transform their technology ideas into high-quality products, leading to 90% of projects being released ahead of schedule while reducing development costs by over 40%.

“Commit’s ability to rapidly build high-quality teams and efficiently bring its clients’ technology visions to market is a proven game changer, especially for growth-stage startups and other disruptors who need adaptability, flexibility and scalability now more than ever,” says Taylor. “As the company continues to grow, I’m very excited to support its expanding operations and team, which will drive innovation worldwide and provide a new path forward for developing custom software and IoT platforms.”

With more than 600 multi-disciplinary experts from around the world, Commit has led nearly 1,200 software development projects for more than 1,000 organisations globally. Its customers range from early-stage startups to international brands including IBM, Citi, JFrog and many others.

Amanda Taylor has extensive international experience supporting sales, marketing and operational teams in software development and professional services. Prior to joining Commit, she led a major quality assurance vendor’s launch into India while establishing a global PMO, which helped it grow over $150 million (€132.29 million) in revenue through organic growth and save over $400,000 (€352,770.00) in operational efficiencies. She has also driven mass adoptions of new CRM technologies and ran America-based sales operations at a business process outsourcing firm with revenues north of $4 billion (€3.53 billion).
